Get to know me
Hello, I’m Paloma Simoes, the heart and soul behind Warrior Heart. Originally from Brazil, I moved to Canada at the age of 13, stepping into a new culture and way of living that initially made me feel disconnected from my true self. In my quest to rediscover who I was, I immersed myself in holistic practices that honored my roots and nurtured my spirit, regardless of my surroundings.
With a degree in Kinesiology and Health sciences, I have a solid foundation in understanding the body’s mechanics and health. My journey took me to Peru, where I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training, deeply integrating shamanic practices into my teachings. Additionally, I have participated in three 10-day Vipassana meditation retreats, experiences that profoundly shaped my understanding of mindfulness and self-awareness.
Through my work at Warrior Heart, I aim to guide others on their own journeys of transformation, helping them reconnect with their highest selves through a blend of fitness, yoga, meditation, and nature-based practices. My mission is to empower you to embrace your authentic self, achieve balance, and live in harmony with the world around you. Let’s embark on this journey together!

My journey
My journey to becoming who I am today has been a beautiful tapestry of experiences. It all began with my passion for understanding the human body, leading me to earn a degree in kinesiology and health sciences. I wanted to learn how to cultivate strength and health, but as I dove deeper, I realized that the mind plays an equally crucial role in our well-being. This realization prompted me to explore meditation, and I immersed myself in a transformative Vipassana course that opened my eyes to the power of mindfulness.
As I continued on my path, I felt a calling to explore the spiritual side of physical activities, which led me to complete my yoga teacher training. It was here that I began to see the profound connections between mind, body, and spirit. Along the way, I also participated in plant ceremonies, delving into ancient shamanic practices and discovering the healing potential of psychedelics and plant medicines.
Through this rich and diverse journey, I’ve learned the importance of nurturing all aspects of ourselves—mind, body, and spirit—and the invaluable role that community and support play in our personal growth. Today, I’m dedicated to guiding others on their own paths to wellness, sharing the insights and wisdom I’ve gained along the way.
200hr Yoga Teacher Training
I offer yoga classes and sessions rooted in the transformative experience of my 200-hour yoga teacher training in the Sacred Valley of Peru, where Eastern and Western teachings beautifully converged. This immersive journey integrated traditional yoga practices with ancient shamanic wisdom, allowing me to deepen my understanding of the body, mind, and spirit. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage, my training involved daily yoga sessions, meditative practices, and holistic healing rituals, fostering a profound connection to self and nature. This transformative experience empowers me to embody the teachings of both traditions in my practice, enabling me to share the gift of yoga with others on their paths to wellness and self-discovery.
Shamanic Practices
I immersed myself in the profound art of shamanic journeying and the sacred use of plant medicines such as Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Mother Cacao. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Sacred Valley in Peru, this experience deepened my connection to the land and its ancient wisdom. Through guided ceremonies and rituals, I explored the realms of consciousness, uncovering insights and healing within myself. This journey not only expanded my understanding of the spiritual dimensions of existence but also instilled a deep reverence for the interconnectedness of all living beings and the natural world. Embracing these shamanic traditions has profoundly enriched my path as a wellness coach, allowing me to share the gifts of healing and transformation with others.
